That’s why we provide you several ways to communicate with us, whenever these events occur. Communication is always important for success.

Changes

We understand when plans change and life happens unexpectedly. That’s why we give you a courtesy reminder of your booking a week in advance, to change or cancel your request. We provide a 48-hour window, prior to the booking, for this very reason.

We also give you the same courtesy when something happens in our lives, where one of our sitters has an emergency, or any other life changing event happens. Please be considerate of our time, as we are of yours.

When the 48 hour window has elapsed, we have to consider the possibility of a partial refund. This is not what we like doing, but the time reserved for your request could’ve been for someone else. It’s only fair to compensate for that missed opportunity.

Refunds

We don’t want to keep your money. We’d at least like a chance to redeem ourselves when a mistake happens, before you consider this step. We understand and know you have the right to ask for it back.

Before we process your refund request, please consider contacting us by phone at (612) 470-7973 or email us at contact@petraordinary.com. Many times, in these instances, it is due to miscommunication and it can be easily resolved. We often find a reasonable and amicable solution together.

Sometimes, we often find that a credit to your account, a gift card or an eGift card, or a complimentary service can be applied, on a later date, to help alleviate the problem.

If we can’t resolve the issue, for any reason beyond our control, please allow us 48 hours to process your request, and we will notify you when it is complete. You should expect to see a refund deposit to your account within 7-10 business days, depending on your bank’s communication.

We’re sorry that this can happen, but hope you’d still consider us in the future. Sometimes, all it takes is some time away before people realize what we meant to them.
